THE DINECH DIAMOND

We've been working hard for a long time to create diamonds using human power. Recently, we've succeeded in producing lab-grown diamonds that have a high value for jewelry.
We believe that these diamonds are sustainable and the most ethical choice for the planet.

DIAMOND COLOR

DINECH only selects diamonds in the top three colors (D, E, F) out of the 23 colors ranging from D to Z.

DIAMOND CLARITY

All of DINECH's lab-grown diamonds use pure diamonds of VVS~VS grade that are difficult to find in nature.

DIAMOND CUT

DINECH diamonds use excellent cut grade diamonds that are perfectly polished among the lab-grown diamonds.

1. Are Lab-Grown Diamonds Real Diamonds?

Yes, lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds share the same optical, physical, and chemical properties as mined diamonds. Whether diamonds are made in a lab or mined from the Earth, both diamond types share an identical formation process.

In 2018, USA The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) considers both lab-grown and mined diamonds to be real diamond. In 2021, USA The National Advertising Division (NAD) expanded further on this topic, clarifying that a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond.

2. What is the difference between Lab-grown diamonds and Natural diamonds?

Lab-grown diamonds are physically the same as mined diamonds. The difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds could be compared to the difference between ice formed outside on a winter’s day versus ice that’s formed inside your refrigerator.

However, lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds differ in sustainability, ethics, and cost. Created diamonds are made by replicating the way diamonds are made in nature without the negative environmental or human toll of mining.

3. How do lab-grown diamonds compare in terms of cost?

Lab-grown diamonds are generally more affordable than their natural counterparts. The cost of lab-grown diamonds is primarily influenced by the production process, which is typically more controlled and efficient compared to the geological process that forms natural diamonds over millions of years. As a result, lab-grown diamonds can be priced at a significant discount, typically ranging from 20% to 40% lower than natural diamonds of comparable quality.

4. Lab-Grown Diamonds Vs Synthetic Diamonds

vs Moissanite

Lab-grown diamonds are not the same as moissanite. Moissanite is a naturally occurring silicon carbide gemstone, with entirely different chemical properties than diamonds. To the untrained eye, moissanite resembles a diamond, which makes this stone a popular alternative.

vs Cubic Zirconia

Lab-grown diamonds are not the same as cubic zirconia. Cubic Zirconia, similar to moissanite, is a lab-created gemstone. It’s made from zirconium dioxide and is often chosen by those who want a stone that resembles a diamond for a much lower price point. However, cubic zirconia is not the same thing as a lab-grown diamond and it will not offer the same beauty, durability, or value that a diamond has.

DIAMOND GRADING REPORT

DINECH verifies lab-grown diamonds over 0.20 carat through evaluation by professional diamond grading agencies such as IGI, IGS and etc.

DINECH diamonds are strictly managed according to the internationally recognized ‘4C’ standards.
